California Recreation Alliance


We teach free ATV and Dirtbike Safety(As of Jan. 2018) to children ages 6 and up. Thanks to the California State Parks OHV grant program, we are able to provide the classes and equipment at no cost to you. Yes, you read that right, our classes are totally free! All we need is for your child to show up in long pants and closed toe shows.

Where do you teach?

We are able to teach in a large selection of diverse locations, our Fort Bragg locations include the MCRPD Regional Park Property, and the Shoreline Riders Rodeo Grounds. We also have training locations in Ukiah at Factory Pipe LLC. and Samoa Dunes Recreation Area in the Arcata/Eureka area. 

IRS List

We are a diverse group of people.  We were started by a local resident who left the area for school then returned to resume his career and raise his family where he grew up.  Our board is made up of local policemen, business owners, a flight paramedic and members of the community.  Our membership consists of a varied group of people, including the local ambulance coordinator, heavy equipment owner/operators, loggers, and interested community members. 

Who are you? 

We are a recognized non-profit with 501 (c)3 status.  We can be found on both the State of California Franchise Tax Board's List of Exempt Organizations and on the Internal Revenue Services Exempt Check List.

When you search for us, make sure you search for the California Recreation Alliance, not the CRA.
